We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Support Engineer. We are seeking someone who is an excellent communicator and experienced in IT services to assist in dealing with technical problems. Working closely with our partners, customers, solution architects, sales managers, and developers, you will look to troubleshoot complex and challenging issues.

What you´ll do:

  • Provide incident troubleshooting and problem analysis using ServiceDesk and phone support (both on-site and remote support)
  • Provide complex technical Level 3 support for the Y Soft on-premise and cloud product portfolio (both SW & HW products)
  • Use various IT technologies to tackle complex and unique support tasks (SQL, WireShark, infosec practices, PowerShell, Java)
  • Act as a primary technical contact for partners
  • Act as a trainer for both partners and customers
  • Deliver implementations, upgrades, and configurations for Y Soft products
  • Participate in internal projects and strategic activities
  • Work closely with Sales & Development teams to improve our products

About you:

  • Experience in customer support and IT services
  • Experience with operating systems, networks, infosec practices, and SQL databases (Windows, Windows Servers, Linux, TCP/IP, SQL etc.)
  • Have a can-do attitude in respect of challenging IT/networking issues
  • Customer-oriented and independent attitude
  • Ability to understand the needs of the customer and deliver of satisfactory solutions

Additional role requirements:

  • must be AU citizen
  • NV1 clearance preferred
  • must be willing to travel
  • must have a drivers license
